Your memories. Your comfort level. Your choice.

Custom Family History Scrapbooks Made Around Your Story

A custom scrapbook can bring photographs, letters, records, keepsakes, and family stories together without asking you to risk what cannot be replaced.

We can work with you in several ways, including digital copies, carefully selected physical items, or a design process that lets your most precious originals stay safely at home.

Your memories do not have to leave your hands for us to help preserve their story.

One family. One story. One-of-a-kind design.

A personalized family scrapbook built from the pieces only your family has.

Old photographs, genealogy notes, family trees, recipes, letters, certificates, newspaper clippings, and remembered stories can become one connected heirloom. Every layout is handcrafted around the people and material in the project rather than copied from a template.

Patrick helps organize names, dates, relationships, and historical context. Cristy shapes those details into layered pages, pockets, captions, fold-outs, and small discoveries that make the scrapbook inviting to explore.

Three ways to share your story

Choose what feels right for your family.

You can use one method or mix them together.

💻

Upload Digital Copies

Share scans or digital photographs of family pictures, certificates, letters, records, newspaper clippings, and other documents without sending the originals.

Your originals can stay safely at home while Cristy designs around high-quality copies.

📦

Mail Selected Physical Pieces

If you are comfortable doing so, you can send physical photographs, certificates, mementos, small trinkets, or other pieces you want incorporated into the scrapbook.

Before accepting originals, we will provide clear instructions for inventory, packaging, tracking, and return.

🏠

Keep Everything at Home

Describe or show us what you have, including document type, photograph orientation, context, and dimensions.

Cristy can create pockets, photo mats, sleeves, frames, envelopes, or reserved spaces so you can add the originals yourself after the finished scrapbook arrives.

You can mix and match

One scrapbook can use all three methods.

For example, you might share sixty digital family photographs, mail two ordinary mementos you want permanently incorporated, and keep Grandpa’s only surviving military certificate at home. We can design around all three choices.

Custom scrapbook questions

How long does a custom scrapbook take?

Timing depends on the size of the book, the amount of research and organization needed, the materials involved, and our current project schedule. We discuss the scope and timing with you before work begins.

Do I have to ship irreplaceable originals?

No. Clear scans, photographs, and measurements can often be used while valuable originals stay safely at home. We can create a pocket, sleeve, mat, or reserved space for you to add the original after the book arrives.

Can you work with an unorganized box of family material?

Yes. A few photographs, a handwritten note, names, dates, documents, or a remembered story can be enough to begin the conversation and plan the safest way to organize the project.

Can historical research be included?

Yes, when appropriate. Patrick can help organize family-history or military information while Cristy turns the supported details into a visual, handcrafted story.

For the things you would never mail

We can design the scrapbook before the original ever touches the page.

Tell us what the item is, why it matters, and how large it is. A phone photo beside a ruler can often give us enough information to begin planning.

We can then create a place specifically for it: a pocket, mat, envelope, frame, fold-out, sleeve, or protected area designed to fit the item when the book reaches you.

  • Original family photographs
  • Birth, marriage, military, or other certificates
  • Handwritten letters and recipe cards
  • Medals, ribbons, pins, patches, or small keepsakes
  • Newspaper clippings or delicate paper items
  • Anything you simply do not feel comfortable shipping

Start with what you have

You do not need a perfectly organized collection before you contact us.

A few photographs, a handwritten note, a military document, a list of names, or even a story you remember can be enough to begin the conversation.

Once we understand the project, we will agree on the safest and most practical way to share the materials Cristy needs to design the book.

If the project centers on a veteran, see how we combine family material with research in our military service scrapbook and veteran timeline service.

From first conversation to finished book

A personal, guided process.

1

Tell us the story

Who is the scrapbook about? What matters most? What do you hope your family feels when they open it?

2

Choose how to share

Digital copies, selected mailed items, keep-it-at-home design, or any combination that works for you.

3

Research & design

Where appropriate, Patrick helps with research and organization while Cristy begins shaping the visual story.

4

Make it yours

Receive the finished scrapbook, add any originals you kept at home, and keep building the family story over time.

A practical rule

If losing it would be devastating, do not mail it just because you think you have to.

Talk with us first. There is usually another way to design around an original while keeping it safely with you.

This is your family’s material

You stay part of the creative process.

This is not a hand-it-over-and-hope-for-the-best service. We want to understand what the items mean, which stories matter most, what should be emphasized, and what you want future generations to discover.

That collaboration is how the finished scrapbook becomes yours rather than simply something made about you.

Start where you are

Tell us what you have and what you are comfortable sharing.

Whether you are imagining a personalized scrapbook, an heirloom scrapbook, or a family history scrapbook, we will help you find a beginning that fits the materials and the story.

You do not need to decide everything before contacting us. We can help choose the safest and most practical way to work with each piece of your story.
